Redfish bite hot now on Calcasieu Lake
On Wednesday, I fished with Capt. Erik Rue of Calcasieu Charters and the redfish were on fire.
Several schools roamed the upper portion of the lake, including jumbos like the 38-incher pictured. That bull was part of a school given away by seagulls vigorously diving.
It ate a 3-inch Big Bite Real Deal Shad rigged on a Buckeye Lures Su-Spin Blade jighead.
In addition to several more reds, we put together a nice box of specks as well.
