Today was a different kind of day for me. Over the years my pursuit of larger trout has lead me toward gnarly structure and salty barrier islands, but today I got to fish deep, fast water using drop shot rigs. It has been a while since I fished with a drop shot, but a bit of advice from another angler got me on the right track. The drop shot worked remarkably well at this spot and may be the only rigging with which you can fish this spot efficiently.
