Ray Ramagos caught this 9 ½-pound bass in a pond in Kentwood fishing a spinner bait on Nov. 24, 2019.
Ray was fishing the pond because his daughter was fixing to sell the property. He had just caught about 14 bass, all small, before he lit into this huge lunker. It took awhile to land it. He didn’t have a scale to weigh it so he used a bathroom scale (minus his granddaughter).
