Catch and cook: Hog trapping

Louisiana’s wetlands are the front line of our protection from storms, flooding, and land loss — and invasive wild hogs are tearing them apart from the inside out. In this video, we’re trapping feral hogs in coastal Louisiana, not for sport, but because unchecked hog populations destroy marsh grass, weaken levees, and accelerate erosion that puts entire communities at risk. If we don’t stop these hogs, we don’t just lose the marsh… we lose it all.
