Tommy Vidrine was joined on his boat this past weekend by a crew in town for a family wedding. They met rough winds in Grand Isle on May 7, but then got on some hammer speckled trout.
On May 8, Vidrine reported the big sow trout had arrived on the beach and gulf rocks, He was fishing in front of Bridge Side Marina and caught some big ones while freelining pogies.
