Bait switch leads to major speckled trout haul

A huge part of the fun of fishing is figuring out what the fish are keyed on that particular day. Last week, I took my buddy Justin Bowles with me, and our trip started with more bites than connections.

But since the tide was light and wind was non-existent, we made a change to a smaller-profile lure with less natural action, and it made all the difference in the world!
