Andre Weber holds an 8.50-pound bass he caught while fishing March 22 in Lake Fausse Pointe. Weber is having a heckuva month. In early March he caught a 5 1/2-pounder, his previous personal best, in Sandy Cove, a notorious spawning area in the lake. On March 19, he caught a 7.25-pounder along the levee on a spinnerbait.
