Comfortable accommodations

Lake Charles is located within a 30-minute drive of some from the finest waterfowl hunting on the continent. There are numerous hotels along the city’s Interstate 210 Loop that provide access south to the agricultural areas where duck and goose hunting are part of the fabric of the region.

During one hunt, our party stayed at Spring Hill Suites on Prien Lake Road off of I-210. The accommodations were excellent with reasonably-priced, comfortable rooms, located within minutes of excellent local dining.

While hunting Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge, our party opted to stay at Myers Landing, less than five minutes from the lottery hunt parking area on the refuge. For those interested in staying at Myers Landing, call (337) 774-2338 to reserve a cabin or an RV space.

Hunters booking with the Lacassane Club will find excellent accommodations, with meals provided by executive chef Patrick Martinez.
