Steiner has expanded its popular Predator C5 line of nocs to include 8×56 and 10×56 models for even greater light-gathering and higher-resolution views.
As with the line’s 10×42 and 12×42 versions, the new models feature a unique lens coating to help spot hidden game by blocking out the colors of haze and foliage, enhancing browns, reds and other wildlife colors. The larger objectives makes it easier to check out deer when they come out early and late.
The 8×56 model offers a 400-foot field of view at 1,000 yards, and weighs in at 40.2 ounces. The 10×56 version tips the scales at 42.3 ounces, and provides a 358-foot field of view at 1,000 yards.
The line features rigid, durable polycarbonate bodies that are waterproof,. The ergonomic styling makes the binoculars easy to use and focus in any weather condition – even if wearing gloves. Fogging is eliminated by nitrogen purging, and each set of glasses come with a padded travel case and rain guards. A padded neck strap also is included for comfort.
