The trout are crushing hard-plastics fished this way!

I checked a free tool on the internet to see whether conditions would be in my favor for a fishing trip this week, and even though I knew the water would be low and possibly dirty, all other factors screamed it would be a good day. So I rolled the dice, hitched up the Avid and headed deep into the Louisiana marsh.

To my surprise, I ran across some really good water, and it was loaded with some of the consistently biggest speckled trout I’ve found in a long while. Best of all, they were hitting suspending Scope Stiks, which is an incredibly fun way to catch them!
