Summer fishing is in full swing even though it is still the middle of June. This means hot water and trout on the edges of the Gulf of Mexico. It also means roving bands of large fish like bull reds, jack crevalles, and sharks. The sharks are the most destructive with my light tackle and it hurts when these predators prey on my $10 jerkbaits!
But with some perseverance we can find speckled trout in plenty and catch them despite the sharks, as you will see on this episode.
