Pretty soon, we’ll all have to run to outside waters if we want speckled trout that will hit like a ton of bricks and make us wonder for a moment if our gear is up for the challenge, but that day is not here yet.

There are still some really nice fish in inside marshes, and that’s precisely where my buddy Chris Macaluso and I went to catch them using a technique that’s always productive this time of the year.
