Temperatures throughout the region have been hotter than cracklin grease for what seems like 47 years now, and that’s caused fish to shut their mouths and wait for more reasonable conditions.
But that’s not true right now out of Myrtle Grove.
Oh, the temps have been just as hot as everywhere else, but the fish don’t seem to mind. Capt. Shane York has been whacking them on the daily, and this week, he invited me to tag along to experience the great action for myself.
