Every year, beginning right about now, speckled trout move into a pattern that is consistently great. Literally, for me, it’s the easiest way to find and catch them, and the fish are often as big as 22 inches.
On my most recent trip, I went exploring for new areas to fish this pattern, and it didn’t take me long to find a bite that was as good as it gets!
