A year ago or so, I discovered a bait that kept producing speckled trout, even when I was targeting other species. It’s not really marketed or thought of as a speckled trout lure, but who cares?
For whatever reason, they love it.
I took the Zimmer Swimmer in Cali 420 this week to the train trestle that crosses eastern Lake Pontchartrain, and as I suspected would happen, the fish ate it up.
