Grinding for speckled trout with popping corks and jigs

You’re watching part two of this fishing trip where two combat veterans go fishing for speckled trout in south Louisiana.

We launched out of Reggio and, before we could make it to your first spot we had come across a flock of diving birds, indicating an excellent fall speckled trout bite. And that’s exactly what we got, but it wasn’t a “one stop shop,” so we continued on to our destination that was originally planned.

If you missed part one of this fishing trip, you can watch it here.

We ended up getting on a decent popping cork bite, but it just wasn’t quite enough to keep us there, so we picked up and fished another spot that I thought would be good.
