Capt. Josh Howard with Deep South Charters takes a family fishing about 60 miles south of Venice using mostly pogies for bait. The bite was early and the pogies don’t hold up that well in the blue water, so after running through their live bait they swapped over to troll baits and picked up a couple of extra fish.
