If you’ve been watching my videos then you know that I’ve been catching easy limits of speckled trout!
So I felt it was time to embrace the grind and throw suspending baits and topwater lures for higher-quality speckled trout.
And that’s exactly what I did.
It took a little bit to get them dialed in, but once I did it was a speckled trout topwater smash-a-thon, with MANY topwater blowups!
I had a GREAT day watching specks blow up a topwater plug and even being fortunate enough to hook into a good deal of them.
But these fish aren’t being kept for the cleaning table!
Instead, they were released to fight another day.
