Captain Randall Shaw gives a nice update of the fishing in Delacroix. According to Shaw, the trout fishing has been strong when conditions are right but the redfishing is much tougher. The better redfish have been holding in grass beds, but overall the fish haven’t schooled up yet. Shaw also says that anglers should pay attention to tide levels in regards to the amount of freshwater on the outer edges for trout.
