The 2020 map of the Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area (WMA) inadvertently excluded restricted and small game emphasis areas, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) said. The map has been corrected online and corrected paper maps are in the process of being printed.
The restricted and small game emphasis areas remain in effect for the 2020-21 hunting season. LDWF encourages hunters to obtain the Revised 2020 Richard K. Yancey WMA paper maps for this season at LDWF field offices and LDWF Baton Rouge headquarters when they become available.
