The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has added additional weekday (Tuesday and Thursday) opportunities to the current online Sherburne WMA General Waterfowl Lottery.
LDWF is offering the hunts three days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Applicants who’ve applied prior to the addition of these added hunts can change their selections by logging into their LDWF account at https://louisianaoutdoors.com/
Additionally, LDWF will no longer provide transportation to and from the hunting area as in years past. All hunters must use their own ATV/UTV to travel along the designated ATV/UTV Trail to the hunting unit that they are assigned. Hunting unit assignments and ATV/UTV travel route maps will be provided to successful applicants.
