Headlamps have made it easier than ever for hunters to find their stands and blinds, and Petzl has upped their game with two new models with lights as much as 54 percent brighter than their previous offerings.
The Tikka Plus2 and Tikka XP2 feature white, high-output LED lights paired with red LED to protect night vision. The Tikka Plus2 delivers 50 lumens of light, enough to illuminate up to 114 feet, while XP2 lights up almost 200 feet with its 60-lumen power. In the models’ economic mode, burn time for the Tikka Plus2 is estimated at 140 hours and the XP2 lasts 160 hours. Blinking mode can be employed in an emergency. Both models are water resistant and come with a 3-year guaranteed.
