Louisiana boy wins Wyoming elk hunt

In early July 2019, 12-year-old Ayden Fatherree of Prairieville got a call that he had won the Wyoming Elk Super Tag for the 2019 hunting season. It was a dream come true for a boy who has lived in south Louisiana his whole life and loves to hunt and fish.

He and his family chose Bruce Bolli at Wood River Ranch for a mid-October hunt, and Ayden took a big 6×6 bull that scored 343. He enjoyed the hunt of his lifetime with his dad, Jason Fatherree, grandfather Jamie Kennison, and grand mother Janet Kennison. He was guided by Mike Potas.
