LDWF to hold hands-on trapping workshop in Baton Rouge

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will hold a hands-on trapping workshop at the LDWF Waddill Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, December 11. The workshop is free to attend, but registration is required.

This family-friendly workshop is designed to preserve trapping as a management tool, a recreational activity, and an economic benefit to Louisiana citizens. Topics include state trapping regulations, trapping equipment, trapping safety, best management practices, trap selection/setting and skinning.
