Here are the results from the 2018 Louisiana Sportsman Show’s Big Buck Contest in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome this past weekend:

Louisiana gun: Dale Robertson, 112 ⅛, Tangipahoa Parish

Mississippi gun: Susan Graves, 149 ⅛, typical

Mississippi bow: Jon Baham, 125 ⅜ typical, Claiborne County

Out-of-state gun: Carley Evans, 95 ⅛ typical, Texas

Youth: Catfish LaBauve, 120 ⅛, Amite County, Mississippi

Muzzleloader/Crossbow: Michael Oncale, 125 ⅝ typical, Iowa

All winners received Sportsman plaques, and Graves won a rifle provided by Puglia’s Sporting Goods. For the top bow buck, Baham received a new fully-rigged Bear Approach compund bow from Chag’s Sporting Goods.
