Yamaha test track returns to Louisiana Sportsman Show

Display includes Wolverine side-by-side

Learning what’s new in the ATV world is easy: Just head to the Louisiana Sportsman Show on March 12-15 and stop by the Yamaha test track.

And you’ll also be able to check out the new Wolverine R-Spec EPS side-by-side, which has never been seen in Louisiana.

The test track, which is free for everyone 21 years old and older with a valid driver’s license, is a 200-foot-by-200-foot dirt track on which you can experience the features and abilities of the various Yamaha ATVs on display.

The course will include obstacles like mounds of dirt and logs to allow you to have a real-world experience.

Yamaha representatives will be on hand to answer questions, and AFI-certified demo trainers will guide guests through the course.

Yamaha’s Raymond Klynoot said the Wolverine will not be used on the track, but it will be displayed so users can learn more about the side-by-side.

The Wolverine offers the perfect blend of suspension, handling, drive train and chassis to handle rough terrain with confidence and comfort.

The side-by-side features four-wheel independent suspension with KYB ultra-long-stroke nitrogen gas-charged shocks for a smooth ride that will handle a wide range of riding styles, loads and terrain.

So make plans to be at the Lamar-Dixon Center on March 12-15 to check out Yamaha’s ATV selection and take a test run.
