Lake Charles, Prien Lake and Moss Lake are extremely easy to access.
For those wanting to launch directly into Lake Charles, there is a ramp right under the I-10 bridge on the east side of the Calcasieu River. You can access this landing by exiting on North Lakeshore Drive.
Anglers can access Prien and Moss Lake from a couple of free, well-maintained ramps.
One is located at Prien Lake Park at 3700 West Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles. A second option is under Interstate 210 on the northeastern edge of Prien Lake.
