Lake Okissa near Brookhaven, Mississippi is the stop for this week’s episode of Sportsman TV. Host Greg Hackney got together with Bernie Reed, the owner of Reed’s Metals. Hackney was excited to discover a lake with deep water within a couple hour drive of his house.
“I had never been to Okissa before, but I had heard of it. Honestly if I knew what kind of lake it was I would have definitely gone much sooner” Hackney explains, “It’s the kind of lake that is deep enough to use my electronics to graph fish and to have that so close to home is really awesome” In the show Hackney runs through a variety of fish-catching methods, but the the one that worked best was dropping a jig into the deep hydrilla. After the fishing trip Hackney and Reed head to the flagship location for Reeds Metals to check out the production facility. Reed shows Hackney all the different ways you can build a metal building a what Reeds has to offer.
