Tyler Dupre credits his grandfather for instilling in him a love for fishing and much of the knowledge on which he improved over the years.
Here are some of his suggestions when fishing south of Bayou Black:
1. Find outlets and inlets along main bayous going into the marsh.
2. Look for some stained to murky water. Quite often, bigger fish hold in these conditions.
3. Fish points at openings into main canals.
4. Look for current.
5. Always be on the lookout for baitfish.
6. When the water temperature is over 70 degrees you can fish faster and be more aggressive.
