We watched bass whack our baits in gin-clear water

This is some of the most amazing footage I’ve ever captured and published on the Marsh Man Masson YouTube channel.

I had the great honor this week of getting to float the Tangipahoa River in Southeast Louisiana with Bayou State legend Joe Lavigne, and thanks to the recent drought, the water was as clear as what you’d find in your bathtub.

That meant we not only caught a ton of fish, we also got to see them rocket out of their hiding places to attack our baits! Some of the strikes just absolutely blew our minds.
