I invited Matthew Isbell, better known to his many viewers as Bama Beach Bum, over to the Bayou State to experience the incomparable fishing in the marshes of South Louisiana.
On day one, we teamed up with Capt. Ty Hibbs on a trip out of Shell Beach, targeting topwater speckled trout early and then scooting into the marsh to sight-cast to redfish.
Water levels were high, but they were also falling, and as the day moved along, the fishing became about as good as it gets. Check out the video for all the details.
