If you want to catch big speckled trout, there’s no better month to do it than this one, and there are few better places than the oilfield structures that dot the nearshore waters of the Louisiana coast.
That’s why I got up before many people had gone to bed to meet Capt. Triston Elston near the mouth of the Mississippi River in Venice for a bumpy trip into Breton Sound.
