Speckled trout have been thicker in Louisiana marshes this spring than the gnats that also reside there, and it’s been hard for me to stay away. This week, I toted along my good buddy Chris Macaluso as well as my son, Joel, for a friendly competition that involved fish catching and tackle-box raiding.
It was a bitter battle until the end. We all caught plenty, plenty speckled trout — as well as a host of other species — but one angler emerged victorious. Check out the video for all the details.
