This speckled trout pattern is super hot right now!

Lucky for anglers, speckled trout are predictable creatures that do the same things year after year, as they shift and move throughout the ecosystem to eat and spawn. This time of year, the former is high on their list as they get ready for the latter.

So that means they go where the bait is, and right now, lots of it is funneling through deep bayous, where it bumps up against ledge walls that disorient it, making it easy prey for the marauding hordes of specks.

It’s my favorite pattern of the year, and it’s happening now! Check out the video for all the details.
