The greatest thing about the marshes of South Louisiana is their mind-blowing diversity. A host of gamefish species call the region home, and on any given day, one will be more willing to play than the others.
Frequently, you’ll be casting for one type of fish, and another will snatch the bait before the target can get it. That’s never a bad problem to have, and it happened to me on my most recent trip.
