In situations where fish are actively feeding, a slow-moving lure will get as much attention as the salad bar at the local pizzeria during an elementary-school field trip. The fish are keyed in on bait that knows it’s under attack and needs to move like its pants are on fire to avoid being reduced to protein.
So, to catch them, you’ll have to throw something fast-moving.
