Cypress trees produce fish throughout the southeastern United States, but to inexperienced anglers, no cypress tree looks appreciably different than any other. Each has a wide base, deciduous needles and nuts that will fall and hit you on the head in the autumn.
But some hold fish and some don’t, and there’s a reason for that.
