No one would ever think of speckled trout as bycatch, but on my most-recent trip, I ferried Ryan McVinney and Scott Sanders from the national television show Stomping Grounds into the marshes around Hopedale and I really wanted to show these guys a big South Louisiana bull redfish.
The speckled trout, however, had other plans, and just wouldn’t leave one of my favorite redfish baits alone. Check out the video for all the action!
