Shrimp draining from marsh at this spot!

Nothing is easier in fishing than when an autumn falling tide sucks white shrimp from backwater marshes, basically hand-feeding them to marauding schools of speckled trout.

This week, I set out in search of just that scenario, and found it with very little effort. South Louisiana fishing is just as good as it gets right now.
