On this episode of DockSide TV, Chas Champagne heads away from the community holes and finds schooling speckled trout on a new rock jetty in Lake Pontchartrain. Champagne said pogie imitation baits becomes important in May and June for speckled trout. He uses the Matrix X-Shad “Smokin’ Shad” around points, coves and rigs this month.
