Sriya Hebert, 8, loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardens, camping out. Anything to be outdoors learning. Sriya was hunting in Lillie, La., when this 7-point comes out roughly 150 yards away. She waiting until it got closer and made a perfect shot. It fell 10 yards away.
“We hunt in the town of Lillie, La. We’ve been part of this lease since 1991. Opening morning of rifle season it was storming so we slept in. We went in the stands as dad and little brother against mom and sister. Brother got him a 128-pound doe. So Sriya was determined to beat him. They got to pick the stand while dad and brother hung back to clean the boy’s doe. Right after they get settled in, this 7-point comes out roughly 150 yards. She held off till it made it to the feeder, then she got in position to shoot and made a perfect shot. It fell 10 yards away. She was pumped she brought her girl’s rule shirt to the stand. She said she had a good feeling about this spot.”
