Don Barcelona with a Jack Crevalle taken with a topwater lure on the south side of Lake Pontchartrain near New Orleans East and the Trestle bridge in August a few years ago. This fish was targeted by looking for pogies being chased on the southshore near the rocks in New Orleans East. If the salinities are high enough the jack fish move in Lake Pontchartrain in the summertime and gorg themselves on pogies.
