Kevin McClary had a great day kayak fishing in Dulac on Saturday, Oct. 24. David Chauvin’s Seafood recently built an impressive new kayak launch just minutes away from some beautiful marsh and ponds that are easily accessed by kayak. On the hunt for redfish, Kevin fished clean water ponds and cuts with moving water and kept working the grass edges seeing tons of bait. He tied up with an 1/8 ounce weedless Matrix Craw with a Sev7n Baits gold underspin and quite a few marsh bass absolutely crushed the lures! Overall pretty good fishing day and success using the new kayak launch.
