Jackson Dennis, 7, and his dad, James Dennis, both of Hathaway, with a 43-inch bull red Jackson caught and released in Oyster Bayou on June 11, 2024. He was so excited that it was almost as big as he is. He told his dad after he got the fish in the boat, “Dad, you told me to catch a big redfish, and I caught a big redfish.”
