Paul “Bear” Sewall, 9, loves all things fishing, including cast-netting for bait. He will fish anytime and anywhere and he is efficient with any rod and reel. Oftentimes, you will even find him making his own poles with sticks and household items. He loves to catch different fish and find out all about them in his field guide. He reads Louisiana Sportsman magazine to get all the tips and tricks to catch what, when and how! One of his favorite fish is the garfish. He is fascinated by their prehistoric features and origins. His fishing journey has taught him immense patience and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. This bass, his first, was caught in Mr. Danny Mooney’s pond in Rayne.
