We took the boat into one of the wildest spots we’ve ever fished—a narrow canal tucked behind a levee, absolutely crawling with alligators. From the moment we launched, gators were circling the boat, some of them easily over 10 feet long. But we were there for the giants lurking below the surface—catfish and gar.
