Experiencing a full 24 hours on the Mississippi Coast doing two very different types of fishing. During the daylight hours, we headed out with Tommy Vidrine to fish for speckled trout using live shrimp under popping corks or working topwater lures along the currents near the barrier islands. As dusk fell, we went out with Capt. Marcus with Saltwater Therapy Custom Charters. Armed with high-powered underwater LED lights and long, multi-pronged spears, we headed to shallow sandbars for night flounder gigging.
