Catch and cook: A bunch of speckled trout and a sea monster

I love to fish just for the joy of being in the marsh and testing my wits against nature, but I’m not going to lie: Getting to eat fresh fish is a hell of a fringe benefit. I do all the cooking in my house, and seafood is my favorite protein to prepare, so I constantly try to develop new ways to present it to my family.

A couple weeks ago, I came up with a doozy, and so I set out this week in quest of the main course for my latest catch-and-cook.
