Boat block

Wind is the sight-fisherman’s enemy, but Craig Graham said there is a way to minimize the waves that break visual contact with bedding bass.

“You can use the boat to block the wind,” Graham said.

That’s where his three-point anchor system plays a more important role than just holding the boat steady.

“You can set the anchors on the upwind side of the bed, and the boat won’t move around,” he said. “You can then see the fish better.”
