How to consistently catch speckled trout in Dularge

Sportsman TV host Greg Hackney teams up with Capt. Marty LaCoste to find out what it takes to stay on the trout bite out of Terrebonne Parish

If you’re looking for tips and tactics to catch more speckled trout this year, don’t miss this brand new episode of Sportsman TV airing tonight at 6:30 on Cox Sports Television.

Capt. Marty LaCoste with Absolute Fishing Charters out of Dularge welcomes the crew aboard his 24-foot Blue Wave Pure Bay this week to provide lots of great information on what it takes to fill the box with specks – even when conditions aren’t perfect.

Host Greg Hackney and producer Jared Serigné are joined by Louisiana Sportsman magazine’s editor Andy Crawford for a great day of fishing out of Dularge.

The crew mostly fished in 2 to 3 feet of water over oyster beds, with lots of nice specks caught on Strike King’s 4-inch Swim-N-Shiner on a ¼-ounce jighead tied directly to the braid.

Sportsman TV airs on CST every Thursday night, as well as Saturday mornings at 8:30 and Sunday mornings at 9.
